Bats

This is where we live now. All of these images were shot right here at our little circle.

I used to be amazed at the number of bats that lived in our carports. Now that the carports have been replaced, I haven't seen

a single one. They're nearly impossible to photograph, because they emerge like a bullet from a gun, and it's always at dusk when there is

lack of light so the aperture has to be open wide. This means if I should

luck out and point the camera correctly, they will be a blur because I

can't get a shutter speed fast enough to get enough light. These photos are technically pretty bad, but I did  to capture one in flight. On the video,

I put a camera on a tripod and filmed for a half hour. I removed all the

dead footage where nothing was happening, then slowed it down twice

as slow, but even with that, they were too quick to get a clear look at.

These are photos from 2019. As of today, there are  5 photos on 1 page.

I seriously doubt I'll be adding to this since the bats have moved out.
