Revolutionary War Chess Set

This was a gift from a friend at church. It's fantastic.

Unfortunately it came with a mildew smell and I knew I couldn't

keep it. So I thought I could hold on to it by photographing it,

and what a great subject it is.

Dave's Chess Set

In 2012, I was visiting my friend, Dave Dodge, who is a

pastor at Calvary Chapel. I was waiting for him in his office and

I saw this magnificent chess set. I just had to photograph it.
