At our house, we really like
clocks and have a slough of them. That's why we hate when Daylight Savings Time rolls around, having
to reset them all. I heard a saying
the other day I liked. Even a broken
clock is right twice a day. That just
seems deep to me.
This one is the second one. I still have it, and I bought a case for it
online, but I don't wear a belt these days, so I haven't brought it out of the drawer in a long time. The battery probably needs replacing again. There is something about these things that I just like a lot. I can't put my finger on it. It's not sentimental, like a heirloom. Well, it is just a little, because Anne-Marie gave them to me, but I'm talking about something else besides sentiment. They are like classic cars, but affordable.
Pocket Watches
I've had two of these since I've been doing photography. Both of them were very inexpensive and run on a battery. This is the first pocket watch Anne-Marie gave me many years ago, that was a lot less expen-
sive than it looks. I think this one was $12. I love the little leather case that attached to my belt. I wore this one out, and the crystal on the watch got shattered.
