Shell
Studio shots of one of the shells the Limpkin left on the
bank of the pond, September, 2021. This looks more like a clam
shell than the snail shells I find on the canal, but I'm guessing. Actually, this was a living thing, so it doesn't quite belong here.

Anne's Shells
February 2024
I had my pristine macro lens on my D500 and I was back in the sun room and saw all this natural light streaming through onto her shells she's collected over the years. My first go didn't yield much as they were too badly out of focus. I'm not sure why; I know the depth of field on this lens is super shallow. So I tried a couple more times. They're not perfect, but I really like some of them.
